2020 Corvette C8

The 2020 Corvette was a car that many enthusiasts were skeptical about. The new C8 was completely redesigned with more of a supercar look in mind. In fact, it was the first mid-engined Corvette. Moreover, automatic transmission on a Corvette that seemed unheard of! However, once the car came out, people realized it was one of the best Corvettes ever produced. It's performance specs Corvette are simply astonishing. 0-60 in less than 3 seconds. Top speed approaching 200 mph. Quarter mile time in around 11 seconds. What's more, its about half the price of a Porsche 911 Carrera 4S.
The C8’s Interior
Not only is the 2020 Corvette an astonishingly fast ride, but it also has the interior that one might find in a BMW. With multiple colors including a luxurious walnut brown and a sporty red, the C8 corvette offers many choices with the ability to impress. If you are configuring the Corvette to suit your racing needs, don't panic, because this Corvette is not just a luxury car in disguise. The C8 also has a performance package with offers features to improve performance on the track such as a performance suspension, a limited-slip differential, and performance anti-lock brakes.
The Corvette is also quite practical compared to other supercars. Quite contrary to other vehicles that deliver similar performance, trunk capacity is not a problem. There are 12.6 cubic feet of cargo space, which is slightly more than that of an Audi A8 (12.5). The C8's mpg stats are also quite impressive, at 15 during city driving and 27 highway. In summation, the C8 is an affordable daily driver with supercar performance that will be sure to turn heads.
2020 Porsche 911 Carrera S/4S

The Porsche 911 is probably the most iconic sports car there is. With breakneck performance, a plush leather interior (Though not as good as the ones in the Corvette and the GTC), and astonishing good looks, the 911 is one of AutoThink's favorite performance convertibles. I will admit that I contemned the 911 in one of the previous paragraphs for being somewhat expensive compared to other convertibles in its range but the 911 indubitably lives up to the hefty price tag it holds.
The 911 yields some extremely impressive numbers. It has 443 horsepower and can go from a standstill to 60 mph in 3 seconds. It can also top out at 191 mph. The Carrera 4S, which is about 10,000 more than the Carrera S can do 0-60 in 2.8 seconds and complete the quarter-mile in 11.1. The 911 Carrera S also lapped the Green Hell in 7:37 seconds, which is quicker than both the Lexus LFA and the Mercedes SLR. Both of those vehicles are significantly more expensive with prices approaching 400k.

In summary, the 911 truly is a stunner that undeniably will perform well on your track days and will guarantee fun whenever you are driving it.
2020 Mercedes AMG GTC
Starting at 162,000
The Mercedes AMG GTC is more of a muscle car than a sports car. With a massive 4.0 V8 that produces an astonishing 550 horsepower, and 502 lb-ft of torque, it truly is the king of rolling races. Not only is it amazing on the drag strip, but it can also perform well both on a track and on the road. The Mercedes AMG GTR, a more track-focused version of the GTC, is one of the quickest RWD vehicles to ever lap the Nurburgring, with a time of 7 minutes and 10 seconds. I reckon that the GTR may not be far behind, as both vehicles have very similar engines. The Mercedes GTC is also a comfortable grand tourer, given that it is a Mercedes. Though the cabin may be a bit cramped, the leather and Alcantara seats are amazingly comfortable and pretty.

The AMG GTC is a car that may excel in comfort and speed, but it does come at a very high price. For its sticker price of 162,000, you could buy two Corvette C8s and a Mercedes GLA, and this is without any options! With options, this car could become the price of two Mercedes S450s. However, the Mercedes AMG GTC should not be a car that you buy because it is affordable, practical, or safe, though it can be interpreted as the latter two of those adjectives. You buy it because its fun and you love the throaty growl of its dry-sump V8. You should buy it because it is a great car, one that is an absolute joy to drive, you buy it because you can toy around with it on track and drift it all day long, but when it comes time to set a record-breaking lap, it's there for you. You buy it because you want the best sports car convertible under 200k there is. And the AMG GTC roadster unquestionably is.
