The Best Value Track Cars On The Market Right Now

BMW M3 Competition xDrive

The 2023 BMW Competition xDrive is a revolutionary new performance vehicle from the BMW lineup. With a powerful turbocharged engine, innovative suspension system, and an array of advanced technology features, this car is designed to provide an exhilarating driving experience. The engine of the 2023 BMW Competition XDrive is a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six that produces up to 503 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. This powerhouse of an engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission with sport and manual shift modes. The transmission also features Launch Control. This has allowed the car to record an incredibly impressive 3 second 0-60 time and 11 second quarter mile. The M3 Touring, the estate version of the car, lapped the Nurburgring (A notoriously famous race track) in 7:35 seconds. As the M3 competition is lighter, it can be implied that this time will only decrease. For reference, a Ferrari 812 Superfast, which costs about 7 times the price and has 300 more horsepower, was only 6 seconds faster. The 2023 BMW Competition XDrive also has a variety of advanced technology features that make driving more enjoyable. The car also has a variety of driver-assistance features, including adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and automated emergency braking. Overall, the 2023 BMW Competition XDrive is a dynamic and powerful performance car that is sure to please. With its powerful engine, advanced suspension system, and suite of technology features, this car is designed to provide an exhilarating driving experience. Whether you're looking for a car to take on the track or just a comfortable ride to get around town, the 2023 BMW M3 Competition xDrive is the perfect choice.

Porsche Cayman GT4 RS

If you are seeking a vehicle that is purely meant to drive around a track quickly, but have a maximum of 200,000 dollars to spend, the Cayman GT4 RS is the perfect option. The newest and most expensive 718 trim lives up to its price tag. Under the hood is a 4.0 liter flat six engine which produces 493 horsepower. This launches the car from a standing start to 60 in 2.8 seconds, all the way to a top speed of nearly 200 mph. Car and Driver also clocked an 11 second quarter mile. However, the most important number attributed to its name is the impressive 7:09 time around the Nurburgring. For the price, it is almost impossible to buy a brand new car that can go as quickly in a straight line and be that effective around a track (I say almost because the Corvette C8 ZO6 exists - if you’d like to read a short review on that car click this link). The Cayman may not be as comfortable or as usable on a day to day basis as a 911 or a Panamera, but it holds the place for the best bang-for-your-buck track car on the market.
